Programs
OOSJ programs support our mission through four main areas of focus: Children in Adversity; Victims of Calamities, Support for the Orthodox Church, and the preservation of the Order’s Imperial Russian and chivalric Heritage. Programs are supported by the initiatives of the Russian Grand Priory, local Priories or Commanderies, and individual members. OOSJ values your perspective and input, please send your input, ideas, or suggestions to HQ.
Children in Adversity
Program Information: Children throughout the world are victimized in countless ways. OOSJ seeks to help, aid, and assist children who are placed into a position of adversity. A few of OOSJ’s past efforts have included: orphanage support, victims of abandoned landmines, and the provision of food, medical supplies and treatment. Please review our past works for further examples.
The OOSJ recently sponsored an event at the UN as a DPI-NGO on the topic of addressing the needs of children in adversity.
Victims of Calamities

Imperial Russian Heritage
Program Information: One of the most unique attributes of OOSJ is our heritage. The original Russian Grand Priory was formed by the Russian Emperor Paul I in order to protect the heritage of the ancient Hospitaller order. Today, the Russian Grand Priory not only preserves this ancient heritage, but also the heritage of the Romanov dynasty’s contributions to the world. While preserving the past, the OOSJ seeks to educate modern society by celebrating Imperial Russia and Hospitaller traditions.
The OOSJ has recently hosted a gala fundraiser in celebration of the 400th anniverserary of the Romanov dynasty. The OOSJ is planning an event in Hawaii, USA that celebrates the longstanding relationship between Imperial Russia and Royal Hawaii. The event is planned at the beautiful Hawaii Theater and will feature the music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
